What is an aspect in astrology?
The angle between two planets, measured round the circle. Some angles are counted as meaningful and the rest are not: 0° (conjunction), 60° (sextile), 90° (square), 120° (trine), 180° (opposition), and the awkward 150° (quincunx). An aspect is a relationship: it says the two planets are working together, against each other, or side by side.
