What is a birth chart?
A map of the sky at the moment and place you were born, drawn as a circle with the eastern horizon on the left. Everything else on this page is a detail of that one picture: where each planet was, which part of the sky it sat in, and the angles between them. It is calculated, not interpreted; two people with the same birth details get the same chart from any astrologer alive.
