What are planetary hours?
Daylight divided into twelve equal parts and the night into twelve more, so an hour is rarely sixty minutes and changes with the season. Each is ruled by a planet in an old fixed order, starting at sunrise with the ruler of the day: the Sun on Sunday, the Moon on Monday, and so on. This is why the hours depend on where you are standing, not where you were born.
