What is a transit in astrology?

The planets keep moving after you are born, and a transit is one of them passing over or making an angle to a point in your birth chart. Transits are how astrology talks about timing: the chart is fixed, the sky moves across it. The slow planets, Saturn outwards, make transits that last weeks or months; the Moon crosses your whole chart every month and is barely counted.

Where you see this in OrbHeaven

Your own chart is calculated from your birth details, and this definition is written out again there with your numbers in it rather than in the abstract. The chart, the glossary and thirty days of dated timeline are free, and nothing here is charged per question.

About a minute. Birth time optional, and no account until after you have seen it.
